Lakeside Park
Location
555 N. Park Avenue, Fond du Lac, WI
With over 400 acres of open recreational space on the south end of Lake Winnebago, Lakeside Park is a great place to visit. Summertime brings impressive flower displays, boating of all kinds, picnics, and children of all ages to the many playgrounds.
Summer also the marks the opening of the Lakeside Park Lighthouse and its observation tower, open April 15 – October 15, 8am to dusk, weather permitting. Visitors can take nostalgic rides on the miniature train and enjoy the antique carousel. Two separate launches; one with a four-lane concrete ramp, loading piers and parking for 20 rigs and the other launch with two concrete ramps,loading piers and large black and top parking. Canoe rentals and covered bridge.

Children’s Museum of Fond du Lac
Location: 75 W. Scott Street, Fond Du Lac, WI 54935-2342
In a children’s museum, children and adults play, learn and have fun together. The CMFDL serves over 45,000 visitors annually onsite and at community events. An upcoming CMFDL includes a Family Night: Camp Out on July 15th.

The mission of the Children’s Museum of Fond du Lac is to create hands-on learning experiences through interactive exhibits and educational programs that will engage children and their caregivers in the partnership of learning through play.

Tuesday-Thursday: 9 am – 5 pm
Friday: 9 am – 7 pm
Saturday-Sunday: 10 am – 4 pm
Admissions:
Adults and children = $6/person
Seniors (age 65 and older) = $5/person
Museum members = FREE
Children under one = FREE
